Jake Vaadeland is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Saskatchewan, Canada. His traditional sound and unique style could be defined as a blend of Bluegrass and 50s Rockabilly.
Jake strives to write and play with a focus on storytelling and messages that he hopes his audience can relate to, all packaged in foot stomping, high energy performances with The Sturgeon River Boys.

Cat Clyde is a singer/songwriter based out of rural Ontario, Canada. A combination of driven, soulful blues and sweet, folk-tinged, dulcet tones that carry a particular sense of familiarity provide the structure on which she creates her unique sound. With influences ranging from Patsy Cline & Lead Belly to Karen Dalton and Bobbie Gentry, this patchwork of musical significance, when stitched to her modern approach, fits like a well-tailored, corduroy-road cloth
Small Paul (Seattle)
Small Paul was born in a Seattle basement In the early days of COVID as a happy accident between housemates Kevin Murphy from The Moondoggies, Chris King and Malcolm Roberts from Chris King & The Gutterballs with Seth McDonald from All Star Opera. They are now regularly heard on Seattle’s KEXP radio.
Small Paul has performed in Rossland previously at The Flying Steamshovel with Edmonton’s ALTAMEDA. They are primed to return in a headline capacity for Blizzard Music Fest 2025!
MOONRIIVR (Toronto)
In the spring of 2020, early days of the pandemic, Gavin Gardiner – best known as the front person for Juno-nominated indie-folk mainstays The Wooden Sky, and as a producer & engineer at All Day Coconut studios for artists such as Fiver, Jason Collette, Leanne Betasamosake Simpson – visited his friend “Champagne” James Robertson at the Robertson family farm north of Toronto.
After years touring as lead guitar with acts like Lindi Ortega and Dwayne Gretzky, Robertson was excited to take on a new project, the two had been circling around each other in the Toronto music scene when the chance to collaborate landed in front of them.
Armed with a vintage Tascam 388 tape recorder, mellotron, and a nylon string guitar the two got stuck in and quickly realized they had stumbled onto something special.
Handsome Tiger (Toronto)
Handsome Tiger, an Anishinaabe Métis and North African music producer/DJ hailing from Turtle Island and currently based in Vancouver, BC, blends traditional sounds from his heritage with other Indigenous and contemporary electronic bass music.
A familiar face in the West Coast music community, Handsome Tiger has performed at numerous shows and amassed a collection of releases. With a passion for bass music, he actively supports and contributes to Vancouver's underground scene and has gained popularity in the North American festival circuit, appearing at events such as Bass Coast, Shambhala, Envision, Lightning in a Bottle, Mutek, Texas Eclipse, and more.
